Biography

Bota Marius is a associate professor at the Faculty of Business, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Business, Babeş-Bolyai University. He has a PHD in management din 2010. One of the major subjects researched during his doctoral studies was the improvement of the process of developing new products.

Bota Marius published as author or co-author 6 specialized books, over 40 scientific works, 3 chapters in collective volumes and participated in over 20 national and international conferences. He coordinated 2 scientific volumes.

He was a member of the teams of several research grants and a research project with the business environment. He is a founding member of CECATO.

In the period 2000-2023 he held the position of director of studies ID-IFR. He is currently the head of the Hospitality Services Department.
